Black and White Images
After many years of saturated exposure to color photography, color in advertising and to color on TV, I think Black and White still produces the most believable documentary, dramatic and romantic of photographic images. The lack of color, and its replacement in a scene with soft and stark values of grey, works much to the advantage of an artistic work, except if you are selling wallpaper. That said, there is nothing really wrong when using color in the name of of Art, TV or Advertising. Except when it doesn't work. - Fred Rowley
